Online Giving FAQ

• Q: What is online giving?
  Our online giving program is a convenient way for you to make a contribution to Flamingo Road Church. If you are unable to attend a service, forgot your offering, or simply like the convenience of paying online, then this service is right for you.
  
• Q: What are the payment options for online giving?
  You can use your Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express card by selecting “Don’t have a PayPal account.” If you have a PayPal account, all you need to do is enter your e-mail and password. You can also make an electronic check by selecting “Don’t have a PayPal account.”
  
• Q: What are reoccurring donations?
  This is similar to a subscription. You can choose how often you would like an automatic payment to be made—weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. You can choose to pay with a credit card or bank account. Log into your PayPal account to setup payment options.
  
• Q: Can I post a reoccurring donation to more than one area?
  In order to post your gift to more than one area, you will have to enter a multiple reoccurring donations, each with their respective area, to post your donation.
  
• Q: Does it cost money to sign up for PayPal?
  No. It is free to open and send money using a PayPal account. See www.paypal.com for full details and account options.
  
• Q: Is PayPal secure?
  Yes. PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. In addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won’t receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. This way, you don't have to worry about paying people you don’t know.
  
• Q: How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed?
  You can log into your PayPal account and view recent activity under your account. Visit www.paypal.com for more information. If you are current member of Flamingo Road Church, we will continue to provide you with a personal giving statement for your tax records.
  
• Q: How do I participate in the weekly offering if I give online?
  If you wish, you can write, “I'm giving online” on the giving envelope and place it in the offering basket, but it is not necessary.
  
• Q: Is there any charge to me from my bank to give online?
  No. You select the dollar amount for your gift. That is the dollar amount that will be charged to your account.
  
• Q: Who do I talk to if I have more questions?
